Apples and Pears are easy to store, demanding only a box or shelf to sit on in a cool, dark, slightly damp environment. It is advisable to wrap each apple in newspaper to prevent mold. Make sure you store only the best fruit, removing all dubious-looking specimens which might ruin the healthy ones. It is also important that air can circulate around the fruit as poor ventilation will cause rotting.
